From the signposts near Jezzine main spring, take the road up to the Jezzine steps and then continue climbing until you reach a concrete road, follow the marks taking a footpath and turn left  at the top to follow a dirt road, few meters later take a nice footpath to the right and back again on a dirt road. Once you are at the bed river turn right along the right bank of the stream, follow the path which is mostly cleared that runs beside the water pipe. Cross the stream several times before entering an umbrella pine forest. Continue climbing up the dirt road until you reach the hunting ground before turning right down a sandy road. Continue straight on an open footpath before climbing up a steep ascent along an un-cleared path, reaching a dirt road on the saddle of the mountain go left next to the treche and follow the dirt road to the east-north and take the first right exit by following the marks. From there, you will start descending towards Aitanit along a footpath until you reach a small flat land from where you can continue to the dirt road. Walk down to the village, ending your section at the village spring.

Getting there
To reach Jezzine, take the coastal highway southbound from Beirut to Saida. When you reach Saida, take the bypass to avoid the congested downtown area and follow the signposting until you reach the left turn to Jezzine after the third traffic circle. The road passes through the villages of Abra, Kfar Falous and Rom as you climb up to Jezzine. To reach Aaitanit, take the Damascus highway into the Bekaa Valley. At Chtaura turn right to Aaitanit, passing by Kefraya and Saghbine. All roads are paved and public transportation is available to both places.
