L’histoire du Centre de recherches et d’études arabes (CREA) remonte à 1945, date à laquelle il voit le jour à Bikfaya sous le nom de Centre religieux pour les études arabes (CREA), afin de former à la langue arabe les religieux destinés à travailler au Proche-Orient. En 1972, le CREA rejoins l’Université Saint-Joseph à Beyrouth. Il étend ses services au grand public, notamment les non-arabophones, et change d’appellation pour devenir le Centre de recherches et d’études arabes, tout en maintenant le sigle originel, CREA. Après avoir été rattaché à la Faculté des lettres et des sciences humaines, le CREA est actuellement rattaché à la Faculté de langues et de traduction (FdLT). They focus on the process of writing a short film screenplay, from coming up with an original idea, to exploring characters, to writing treatments, to writing your first draft.

Institut français Courses

The mission of the French Institute of Lebanon is to strengthen and promote cultural exchanges between France and Lebanon. A true multidisciplinary cultural pole, it is a teaching center for the French language, a place for the dissemination of culture, and a platform for artistic exchanges. The Institute is active in all fields of knowledge and the arts.
