Aadlieh, Beirut district

Unique, vibrant and welcoming, Beirut attracts international and regional business people, tourists and Lebanese expats, not to mention the Lebanese diaspora looking to discover their roots. They are looking for a place that is out of the ordinary, stylish and a home-away-from-home, but one that is even better. They want their accommodation, services and amenities to meet the highest international standards, but without the usual monotony so often found in hotel chains. They want respite from the chaos outside yet want to have easy access to the highlights of the city, such as business hubs, shopping and entertainment centers.

This is The Key Beirut, an independent four-star deluxe aparthotel located in a unique part of central Beirut. And these are the reasons that business and leisure guests choose to stay with them, again and again.

It wouldn’t surprise them if you wanted to hang out in the lobby for your entire stay. They worked really hard on designing its distinct Mediterranean feel with stylish seating areas, a mini library and a cool al fresco bar area for those long, hot summer evenings. They had to, since their spacious apartments and rooms have been so incredibly well designed and well equipped that you will probably never want to leave them. This is no accident. They hired two of the best architects and designers in town to do the job: renown interior architect Galal Mahmoud of GM Architects, famed for designing hotels across the Middle East, and leading architect Said Bitar of 4B Architects to design the hotel building itself.

They say location is everything. Theirs is unique. There is no sea view, but this is urbane Beirut. Their guests are here to discover city life, do business and be part of the cultural and entertainment scene, of which most is within walking distance or just a very short drive away. And they mean short: 5-10 minutes at the most.

Beach lovers needn’t be disheartened. A 30-minute taxi ride will see you relaxing on some of the best beaches north or south of the capital. Talking of transport, all our guests have free access to The Key car service so you can travel anywhere within Greater Beirut and back again. But it doesn’t stop there. They have bicycles too, the only hotel in Beirut that does. Grab yourself a helmet, basket and map from reception and use pure pedal power to discover the city. It’s also free. There are more than 250 secure parking spaces on four underground levels, ample above ground parking.
