Saifi, Beirut district

Founded by Cynthia Tambourgi Rizk, architect, and Joelle Maroun Sarraf, interior architect, in 2008, InnDesign is an Architecture & Interior Design practice based in Beirut.

They have established themselves as one of the leading design practices within the region, and continue to expand their scope of work locally and beyond borders.

Associate Rizkallah Chaaraoui, Architect, Head of the Interdisciplinary Design Division, has launched a recently established Material Research Department, creating material-based bespoke designs.

InnDesign are renowned for their precision, attention to detail, and modern interpretation of space.

CYNTHIA TAMBOURGI RIZK Graduated with honours in 2000 from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) with a Master's degree in architecture. Worked for over one year at "AAA, Atelier des Architectes Associés" and later joined GM Architects, leading interesting projects throughout the world, mainly in Asia and Europe. Eight years later, having gained years of experience and worked on a multitude of diverse assignments, the time was right to open her own firm. 

JOELLE MAROUN SARRAF Graduated in 2001 from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) with a Master's degree in interior design. Upon graduation, she worked for "Jean Louis Mainguy Architecture Interieur" where she handled various residential and public projects in Lebanon and abroad. In 2006, she joined "GM Architects" and gained experience in designing large scale resorts and hotels in the region. In 2008, Joelle decided to establish INNDESIGN in partnership with Cynthia. 

RIZKALLAH CHAARAOUI Completed a Post-Professional Master’s degree of Science in Architecture with a concentration in Material Systems at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning (TCAUP), University of Michigan, in 2014. Graduated with Honors in 2012 from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) with a Master's degree in Architecture. In July of 2014, he rejoined INNDESIGN as Head of the Interdisciplinary Design Division, focused on material research in the fields of architecture, interior design and furniture making. He is currently exploring new venues in material configuration and actuation through the use of wood veneers, textiles and metal alloys. He has been involved with INNDESIGN since 2008.
