Shazaya Museum is home to a striking collection of metal artworks, each telling a unique story. Some pieces are forged from war remnants—shrapnel, bullet casings, and salvaged debris—transformed into thought-provoking sculptures. Others are crafted from traditional metal, skillfully manipulated to create intricate designs and bold artistic statements. Together, these artworks create a compelling dialogue between destruction and renewal, blending history with artistic reinvention.

Officially-Recognized Tourist Attraction

In 2024, the Lebanese Ministry of Culture officially recognized Shazaya Museum as part of the country’s national museums list. The recognition was marked by an inauguration ceremony in September 2023, attended by Caretaker Culture Minister Mohammad Mortada.
