Beirut’s dining and nightlife scene welcomes a distinct new concept with the opening of Mimi, a restaurant and cocktail bar that redefines the city’s hospitality landscape. Located in a landmark Achrafieh building, Mimi is the creation of sisters Yasmina and Elissa Yared, two trailblazing entrepreneurs, known for disrupting the status quo, who today add a fresh new concept to their impressive portfolio of industry favorites.

Mimi is more than just a venue, it’s a persona. A playful juxtaposition of mi-classique, mi- eccentrique, Mimi embodies elegance with a twist: timeless yet unexpected, refined yet bold. It represents confidence, creativity, and individuality. Like a host who crafts unforgettable evenings, Mimi curates experiences that blend vintage charm with striking modernity. This dual spirit comes to life through the space’s design, the food, and the evolving energy that unfolds as night falls.

Designed by BUS Architects, Mimi’s interiors are as layered and expressive as the concept itself. Rich wood and marble lend a sense of timeless elegance, while red accents, steel-and-glass gates, and a striking 22-meter lighting sculpture add an element of visual intrigue. The venue accommodates 75 guests across low tables and a 15-seat bar, with a new lunch service and an expanded terrace and indoor area seating 60 more on the horizon.

As night deepens, so does Mimi’s mood. After 11 PM, the space shifts from warm and intimate to electric and unforgettable. DJs, pop up entertainment, and an unspoken invitation to stay a little longer ensure that every evening at Mimi is anything but ordinary.
